Is The Arts A Language?

Alright so today in my English class we had a debate. What was it on? Well it was on The Arts. What about The Arts? Well do you believe they are a language of it's own or do you disagree with this?

You may now debate! :) I love this topic for a debate it's entertaining and it can blend and go on for a bit. So everyone state what you think and why and counter off anyone elses points and disagree!!!!! :D
